SPARE PARTS REVIEW (E-SPIR)
Spare parts are needed to provide an uninterrupted operation of certain equipment e.g. shafts, impellers for centrifugal pumps stocking of s/p justified only if it is foreseen, they will be used in near future where deterioration (wear) of equipment concerned.
Interchange ability: A condition which exists two or more items possesses such functionally and physical characteristics as to be equivalent in performance and durability and are capable of being exchanged one another without modification in item nature.
